Hi, I’m Mark the founder of Three Sixty Rehab! I have titled myself an ‘Functional Movement Neurologist’ because I don’t seem to fit into any current paradigm within the health and wellbeing sector. I use a system of assessment and therapy based on a common sense understanding that the body and brain are completely integrated.Faulty movement, back pain, knee pain, altered posture is always driven by the brain. I’d like to raise the game in the therapy world to match the amazingly complex nature of the body and help it do a better job!
I am essentially a ‘Functional Movement’ specialist with a comprehensive background in physical training having served a full career in the Royal Navy as an exercise specialist which includes a BSc Hons in Sports Rehabilitation and a fellowship with the Gray institute of functional transformation which is advanced human movement performance. I have since applied myself to the learning of the human nervous system in order to influence the integrated brain / body system to not only assess where the injury / pain or niggle is coming from treat with a brain based approach.
I have always had an empathy for those in pain and I decided that I would be the best I possibly could to help stop this mostly unnecessary suffering. It never sat well with me that people would live debilitated by pain or dysfunction only to be offered basic and often ineffective treatments or generic exercise programmes so I decided to do something different. My aim is to give the very best care and treatment there is using the understanding that we are the most complex living organism in the universe! Your body is a highly sophisticated system capable of healing itself – we just need to create the right environment!
